Matrix Clock
The Matrix Clock is a simple app for webOS that displays the famous “falling green code” from the Matrix movies. Using the back swipe gesture, one can cycle between a 12-hour clock, a 24-hour clock, and no clock at all. The forward swipe locks and unlocks rotation so you can put it in landscape mode, portrait mode, or anywhere in between! You can also adjust the speed and color of the clock and code. Simply swipe up and down on the screen to adjust the speed, or swipe left and right to adjust the color: the top third of the screen adjusts the red, the middle adjusts green, and the bottom adjusts the blue!
At the moment, this app is great to start when you plug in your phone or place it on the Touchstone for an alternative display. Unfortunately, until webOS 2.0 is released, it won’t be able to launch automatically when placed on the Touchstone, but look for this update when Palm releases 2.0!
